Not so long ago, we as a species decided that food prepared, sold, and served from a stationary curbside vehicle was the greatest thing.
The concept of food trucks is certainly not new. (See: ice cream trucks, carnival concessionaires, and all of New York City.) But for many of us, the novel idea of strolling through the neighborhood and stumbling upon—wait, is that guy selling tacos out of a truck?! Then watch the line stretch around the block.
The Upper Valley has seen something of a food truck boom of late. Village greens and farmers’ markets are increasingly food truck-friendly. We have food truck festivals! It’s a legit thing.

As for mine? I’m going with the Mac’s Sugarhouse truck. Because a maple creemee made with McNamara Dairy cream from a truck that I don’t have to chase down the street waving money in the air? That's a dream come true.
