Lebanon NH is the town where I have lived for 18 years. I have extolled its virtues, like the Northern Rail Trail and its sister Mascoma River Greenway, its parks and fountains, its food trucks and expanding number of restaurants. But if I had to choose one thing that sets Lebanon apart and would make me want to move here if I weren’t already rooted within its borders, it would be the thriving arts scene.
Recently, I had the privilege of writing a piece for Image Magazine about AVA Gallery, the Upper Valley Music Center, and Lebanon Opera House, with a nifty sidebar about Opera North and its foray into establishing a Park for The Arts at the Blow-Me-Down Farm in Cornish NH. My humble prose turned into a beautiful 9 page spread in Image’s Summer 2018 issue.
You can find it online here: http://www.uppervalleyimage.com/2018/06/14/175194/in-this-issue-summer-2018 or in print, for sale around the Upper Valley in places like the Hanover and Lebanon Co-ops and the Dartmouth Bookstore.
