American Legion members proudly serving their community
I attended the American Legion meeting on June 4, 2018 and thought it would be nice to let Norwich residents know who the newly elected officers are: Photo's taken by Demo Sofronas Past membership chairman.
Below is a public relations statement from our Commander;
Hello fellow Legionnaires and Norwich residents. We had another good parade with a nice turnout of veterans and attendees. The weather was a bit cool, but the rain stayed away, so we can’t complain. Many thanks to everyone who helped to prepare and clean up afterward. We are fortunate to have the support of the CAP, Scouts, Marion Cross School, Town of Norwich, military vehicles,Police escort,Fire Dept. volunteers, Lions Club, and family and friends. Thank you all for helping us to observe Memorial Day properly.
