This spring, Cedar Circle Farm & Education Center is offering three different sections of its culinary program for middle schoolers, to meet the varying levels of interest and experience.
Each four-week session takes a well-rounded approach to teaching older children culinary skills that will develop and expand their love and curiosity for cooking and food.
The Intermediate section of the class is for students who have a basic comfort level in the kitchen. In this 4-week program, we’ll practice using different kinds of knives and other kitchen equipment. Our main focus will be exploring making many sauces and dips utilizing seasonal veggies. Hummus, romesco, and tzatziki are just a few of the recipes we’ll learn!
