On Saturday, May 5th, from 2-6 pm we’ll open our doors to the fermentory for an open house (of Barn and Cave) and wine tasting with the farmers, fermentors and chefs of Fable Farm. We're excited to celebrate around the abundance of seasons past, brought into the present by the art of fermentation. Come visit the cave where the barrels of wine pass the test of time, and breathe in the aromas of the masonry hearth firing out sourdough pizzas as you taste through the many creations of wines made from apples, honey, grape and tree saps, including the first ever release of our grape wines!
Throughout 2018 we're celebrating a decade of enterprising as Fable Farm. The new beginnings that are arising this Spring on our farm and in our fermentory are supported by an energy of culmination that is flowering all around us. We have journeyed down many paths in our quest to birth and sustain a community-minded agrarian enterprise with a mission to regenerate our relationship with Earth. All paths have led us to the necessity of bringing value to our agricultural pursuits. A kind of value that reflects a sense of place and the deepening of our roots. So we began planting trees and cellaring wines and vinegars sourced directly from the land and preserved by the power of fermentation. Our farm has taught us the sanctity of community and ecology in showing us time and time again that the Whole is truly stronger than it's parts. And so we extend an invitation to All to come out to our farm and winery, where we have been laboring to produce a direct reflection of what our local ecology has to offer.
The evening costs $20 and includes samples of 10 different Fable cuvées, as well as small plates of Vermont cheeses, house cured meats, sourdough woodfired pizzas, farm krauts and fire roasted meats.
Email email@example.com to RSVP; tickets will be paid for and picked up at the fermentory.
