If you regularly post events on DailyUV, you'll want to know about a change we just made to profile pages.
Until now, everything you posted -- events, blog items, promotions, whatever -- lived cozily cheek by jowl on your profile page. This is nice in a "here's everything we do" sort of way. But it's never really been an easy fit.
So now you have a choice. If you like things the way they are, ignore this.
But if you want visitors to your profile page to have a choice of seeing all your events in one place (ordered from soonest to farthest in the future) and everything else in another, this is for you.
First, go to your profile page and scroll down. You'll see this "Calendar View" block. Hit the "Edit" button.
This will let you decide which view you want to be the default when visitors come to your profile page. Maybe all you do is post to the Calendar? Then you'll want the toggle you see below set to "On." (Don't forget to hit "Save Changes.")
Or maybe you've got a robust Calendar, but you've also got a lot of posts describing and promoting what's in the Calendar. In that case, the Posts option is probably what you want people seeing first. Just leave things be.
Once you're done, make the Calendar/Post option visible to the public. You do this by turning the top toggle on. Like this!
Now anyone coming to your page can easily move back and forth. Check it out for yourself! If you don't like the way things look, just change them back.
