Jake, Owner of Green Mountain Smokehouse
Meet Jake. He loves a BLT.
Jake was born and raised in Vermont. He grew up mostly in Hartland. As a kid, he loved nothing more than playing outdoors - whether it was skiing, fishing or playing whiffle ball. His first job was mowing lawns.
Jake and his wife started Green Mountain Smokehouse almost 20 years ago. It's a USDA-approved meat processing facility in Windsor that caters to retail and wholesale customers. Products include bacon, pork chops, pork loin, ribs, steak, pepperoni, kielbasa, andouille sausage, breakfast sausage, cheddar and more. Hungry yet?
Jake and his wife live in Reading, about 25 minutes from the Smokehouse. They have a daughter. Jake still loves to play outdoors and can usually be found skiing or fishing in his free time depending on the weather.
