This concert will feature the St. James Choir, and
be accompanied by a chamber orchestra and soloists.
The Passion is performed during the Lenten season reflecting on Christ's Passion - the physical, spiritual and mental suffering of Jesus from the hours prior to his trial through to his crucifixion. The 1730 version of the passion story is by turn dramatic, reflective, and introspective. The two hour, free performance will be followed with light refreshments in the Parish Hall.
