Earlry Signs of a Bumper Crop
The Upper Valley Mirror visited the Taylor Brothers Sugarhouse in Meriden, N.H. on Sunday March 4 and made a very pleasant discovery. The sap is flowing and the maple syrup is sweet!!!
The Taylor Brothers started sugaring on February 22 this year and already they have produced some 500 gallons of super sweet Grade A Amber Maple Syrup. The sample they gave me was out of this world!1 Yum, Yum! The only question remains is will this continue right on through the month of March? As we in the Upper Valley know all too well, March can be very fickle.
Right now however, things are very busy at the Taylor sugar shack as you will see in the photos below. Get over there and check it out!! Enjoy the Maple Syrup.
