Sometime magic happens when musicians play together. The result of the blending of sounds creates music greater than the sum of its parts. This often happens when Jim Yeager and Woody Thompson play together. They seem to understand each other musically. This produces unbelievable instrumental harmonies. Jim shreds as he laces through Woody’s fantastic Neil Young covers. Woody always teases about a “strict no rehearsal policy” but these two know each other so well musically they need no rehearsal. Live music is always a surprise, but these two are a delightful surprise!
Make it a point to find them together. They play a set every Wednesday at Skunk and Mondays at Bentley’s. They tend to pop up at various venues as well. Keep your ears tuned for this dynamic duo.
