Filmed Entirely in Windsor, VT.
The much anticipated movie that was filmed entirely in Windsor, Vermont had its hometown premiere on Thursday, February 8 in the Lois White Theatre at the Windsor High School. It kicked off with a meet- and-greet session with the local actors and actresses who appeared in the film entitled "If I Could Run" followed by the showing of the 86-minute movie.
The project came about when Windsor resident Donal Miller wrote the screenplay based on a true incident in his own life revolving around "bullying" by high school students. Shawn Welling, who owns Welling Films in Houston, Texas, loved the concept of the movie and brought his film company to Windsor. As the crowd that attend the premiere quickly discovered, the finished product was beautifully filmed and a very emotional experience that held them spellbound.
The next step for If I Could Run will be its World Premiere at the 2018 Worldfest on April 20 to April 27 in Houston, Texas. Following that, look for the film's release in many markets. Below you will see some of the action from the Windsor Premiere.
