WISE is currently accepting applications for our spring Foundations of Gender-Based Violence Training. We will introduce you to the cultural
foundations of gender-based violence, and also provide you with a framework and
skills set to help WISE end violence, share hope, and change lives. During this
training, we will reflect on our organization's  history, explore current
trends, and discuss the realities of domestic violence, sexual violence, and
stalking. This 15-hour training is recommended for community members interested
in volunteering at WISE: ambassadors help us with outreach efforts; advocates
work to keep our 24-hours crisis line up and running; group facilitators provide opportunities for
survivors to connect and process their experiences; volunteer professionals
donate valuable skills and expertise to support survivors. We need more of our
community members to join us in this critical work! We hope that you will join

Our next training begins on March 8 and
continues Monday and Thursday evenings 6-8:30pm until March 26. For more information review our website or email Stacey at volunteers@wiseuv.org. #uvvols
