WISE is adding two new positions to our program staff. WISE is a non-profit organization committed to ending domestic and sexual violence and stalking. Across 21 towns in the Upper Valley of NH and VT, we support over 1200 survivors every year using the empowerment model, and present over 500 trainings and workshops to eliminate the social conditions that allow for violence.
Prevention and Education Program Educator: Join WISE's Prevention and Education Program team and facilitate learning and activism to end gender-based violence in 21 towns across the Upper Valley of NH/VT. The team facilitates youth violence prevention curriculum throughout 9 school districts to students from kindergarten through high school, along with educators, and parents. PEP represents WISE through its public messaging, outreach, events, professional development, and community opportunities. The perfect candidate has experience designing learning activities and developmentally appropriate curriculum, loves working with young people to build their leadership in social change, and is committed to the mission of WISE to end gender-based violence.
Program Advocate: Housing and Shelter CoordinatorJoin WISE's Crisis and Advocacy Team and provide high-quality, well-coordinated advocacy support for victims of gender-based violence and their supporters. This position has a primary focus on access to safe housing. Responsibilities include planning, vision and strategy for the WISE Safe Home program, utilization of the Housing First model, as well as managing daily logistics of shelter operations.
