The Christmas Dinner at Old South Church in Windsor serves approximately 65-70 people each year. It will run from 12 - 2 pm. The menu will include turkey and ham along with all the delicious vegetables that come with a classic Christmas dinner. Potatoes, squash and carrots along with stuffing, cranberry sauce and rolls. Lots of yummy desserts are available as well.
The most important thing the organizers serve during this dinner is a sense of community; this dinner is meant to be much more than just a meal, it is an opportunity for those who might not otherwise have anyone to share this day with. This goes for the volunteers as well.
The organizers have been running this community Christmas dinner for 10 years now. It is a unquestionably an incredible gift to volunteers, attendees and the community. Call and volunteer!
