Year End Gala Well Attended
The Lebanon Chamber of Commerce hosted its Annual Holiday Social and Awards Night December 13 at the Fireside Inn & Suites in West Lebanon, N.H.
The gala event was well attend by Chamber members, sponsors and local dignitaries to honor the selection of the Lebanon Business of the Year and Good Citizen of The Year Awards. For the very first time, the Lebanon Chamber of Commerce also handed out its Volunteer of The Year Award.
Named as Business of The Year was the Salt Hill Pub located in the Lebanon Mall along with their new location on the Plainfield Road in West Lebanon. Salt Hill Pup is owned by brothers Joe and Josh Tuohy. They also feature locations in Hanover. Newport and Newbury, New Hampshire.
The Good Citizen of The Year Award was given to Peter Mason, M.D. Dr Mason is a family physician who joined the Alice Peck Memorial Hospital in 1981. He has done extensive work with under-served populations at the Good Neighbor Clinics (Which he co-founded in 1991), The Haven, Headrest and the Claremont Soup Kitchens.
The Volunteer of The Year Award was presented to West Lebanon resident Dave Nelson, who is a free lance photographer and writer who donated his services during 2017. Mr Nelson also operates the Upper Valley Mirror Blog on dailyUV.com
