Chloe Brisson is a 21-year-old emerging jazz vocalist. A New Hampshire native, Brisson spent her formative years studying with teachers Sheila Jordan, Dominique Eade, and Fred Haas among others. In 2011 she recorded at Manfred Knoop Studios with Matt Wilson, Marvin Stamm, Bill Mays, Martin Wind, and Fred Haas, creating her first album entitled "Blame It On My Youth". The Jazz and Blues Report reviewed her album, stating, "Her presence in such company sounds unforced and confident... the listener is left to speculate where her remarkably mature sense of phrasing comes from. The future of vocal jazz looks bright indeed." Over the years she has been selected for various prestigious programs, including YoungArts and the Grammy Jazz Session, and has headlined at on international jazz festival in Russia, touring there for 15 days. As a young, passionate vocalist who is devoted to bot the tradition and the craft of jazz, Brisson aspires to be a positive and innovative addition to the jazz community in the years to come. Brisson is currently studying at the New England Conservatory of Music where she studies with Dominique Eade and John Mcneil, is part of an individual CPP Fellowship, and is a member of the 2015-2016 Jazz Honors Ensemble.
