Meditation is a practice to calm and train our mind and bring out our inherent qualities of openness, warmth, peacefulness and courage. It can help us overcome stress and fears, work with our emotions, stabilize and soothe our mind, so that we can engage more effectively in our world and extend ourselves to help others.
Meditation instruction is also available on Tuesdays at 5:30pm.
The Shambhala Center is open to everyone for sitting meditation on Tuesdays from 5:30 - 6:30, and Thursdays noon to 1 pm, and Sundays 10am to noon.
Note: We are located on the 2nd floor with no elevator at this time.
