Three-time Grammy winner Shawn Colvin is a
singular and enduring talent. Her songs are slow-release works of craft and
catharsis that become treasured, lifetime companions for their listeners. As a
storyteller, Colvin is both keen and warm-hearted, leavening even the toughest
tales with tenderness, empathy and a searing sense of humor.
She has created a remarkable canon of work
including her 1996 breakthrough A Few Small Repairs. The murder-ballad “Sunny
Came Home” gave Colvin a Top 10 hit, a platinum-selling album and two of
Grammy’s biggest honors: Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
This fall’s Repairs anniversary tour is Colvin’s
first with a full band since the album's original release. She’ll perform the
album in its entirety alongside a variety of hits, personal favorites and
surprises from her repertoire.
Multi-instrumentalist/singer Larry Campbell and
his singer/guitarist wife Teresa Williams will support all dates in addition to
appearing in the band.
