Edward Kadunc of Barnet, Vermont, studied and worked in the field of fine arts throughout his life. After many years in the field of commercial art, he is directing his creative effort in the pursuit of fine art, oil painting, watercolor, and graphite as his principal mediums. The interpretive works of the old school artists, landscape impressionists of the 18th through 20th century, as well as the old masters are the primary influence in Kadunc’s style and interpretation. Depicting the relationships between landscape and the historical and influential people of this region, has become the source of Kadunc’s inspiration and motivation. His exhibition Retrospective 2019 looks back at the journey of art creation and development of present-day landscape compositions and portraiture, as well as a look back through the early works of impression and imagination.
