An adults and children's Easter Egg hunts are held in New London
Adults look for Easter Eggs in New London
The New London Recreation Department held two Easter Egg hunts in New London April 11 and 12. Around 75 adults took part in their egg hunt on Friday night on the grounds of the New London Historical Society. Besides candy , prizes donated by area businesses were also hidden inside the eggs. The event raised $1300.00 for scholarships for children to attend the New London Recreation Departments summer camp.

On Saturday back at the New London Historical Society it was the children's turn to look for Easter Eggs. About 4,000 candy filled Easter Eggs were picked up by over 100 children from the area in about 5 minutes.
