And it is a beauty
A new Utility 1 truck has arrived at the Fire Station and it is looking fine. The crew has been busy getting it street and/ or off road ready so that it will be a worthy addition to the Fire Department fleet. I am going to show the old truck below and then the new.
This was the old truck which was properly retrofitted and given to the DPW
This is the info from the Norwich Fire on the arrival date: Photos courtesy of Norwich Fire. I will be adding some photos taken by me as well.
Deputy Chief Matt Swett sits proudly behind the wheel. I think he approves of this purchase.
Getting Utility 1 road ready
Giving it the once over and preparing the truck for duty
I stopped by the Fire Station on Monday, April 8, 2019 during their weekly training duty and asked if I could get a group photo of the whole Fire Company and the new Utility 1 truck.
Here is the photo
The Chief , the fire crew , and the new Utility Truck
And in this photo the chief is allowed a chance to hang with the crew. He must be doing something right.
