Museum-quality collection of 16th thru 20th century hand-painted Tibetan chests of wood, hand-tooled leather and metal work — of great cultural significance — on display. Plus, hand-woven rugs by InnerAsia Rugs for sale. Brief talk by Dartmouth anthropology faculty member Sienna Craig on "The impact of Engagement in the Crafts to Rekindle Cultural Heritage" followed by a tour and explanation of how the boxes made their tumultuous trek from Tibet to America by Dartmouth College alumnus Kesang Tashi, Class of 1970. 2nd floor of the lovely, E.
