A sweet time for all during New Hampshire Maple Weekend
Will Leavitt talks to Brannoh Mieters and Mike and Sue Peirce about maple sugaring in Springfield NH
The New Hampshire Maple Producers Association held Maple Weekend in New Hampshire March 23 and 24. In the Lake Sunapee Region sugar makers from Springfield to Warner held open houses so people could learn how maple syrup is made. Some sugar houses gave out free samples of maple syrup, while other maple syrup producers offered free pancakes, ice cream and other sweet treats over the weekend.
