Lebanon cyber sting operation results in man being charged with attempted sexual assault

LEBANON - Another suspect who was allegedly attempting to meet juveniles in Lebanon for the purpose of engaging in sexual acts was caught up in a sting operation this week conducted over social media by the Lebanon Police Department Cyber Crimes Unit.

    Daniel Dudek, 49, of Lexington, Massachusetts was arrested Wednesday when he arrived in Lebanon expecting to meet two people whom police said had been posing as juveniles on-line.

    Dudek has been charged with a felony counts of prohibited uses of computer services, attempted manufacture of child sexual abuse images and attempted felonious sexual assault and a misdemeanor count of attempted sexual assault.

    Dudek was held overnight in preventative detention and is expected to be arraigned in the Grafton County Superior Court later today.
