Bellows Falls man sought for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon

BELLOWS FALLS - Police in Bellows Falls are looking for 33-year-old resident whom they suspect was responsible for an aggravated assault that took place on Hyde Street around 1 p.m. on Friday.

    John-Victor Wetherby already had warrants outstanding from the Windham County Sheriff's Department seeking his arrest on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and violation of probation.

    He is believed to have fled the scene on Hyde Street on foot.

    Wetherby is 5-feet-10 inches tall and weighs about 130 pounds with blue eyes and a shaved head.

    Anyone who might have information on Wetherby's whereabouts is being asked to contact the Bellows Falls Police Department at (802) 463-1234.
