HARTFORD - A mail truck driver who fell asleep while headed north up I-91 this morning managed to escape any injury when his large box truck rolled onto its side in the median a couple of miles south of the interstate interchanges in White River Junction.
Vermont State Police said that the driver, Adrian Gardner, 25, of Hartford, Connecticut was wearing his seatbelt when the mishap occurred about 4:40 a.m.
The 2006 GMC C7500 box truck struck guardrails before rolling and ended up sustaining damage to the front end and passenger side.
