Knitters will be thrilled to learn that the Norwich's closed yarn store will be reopening under new owners this Friday, March 1st. The new store will be called Norwich Knits and the new owners plan to make it a place for customers to shop, learn and come together.
The new store will feature social gatherings as well as a crafts teaching studio. They will offer after-school classes to kids, weekend workshops and high quality products. Perhaps the coolest part of this new store will be the room dedicated as a "Vermont yarn boutique" that will solely feature yarns that have been sourced from Vermont sheep farms.
If you're interested in learning more and seeing the new space, stop by this weekend during the Norwich Knits Grand Opening. There will be cookies, tea, raffles, sales and more on Friday (12-8pm) and Saturday/Sunday (12-6pm).
The store will be located at 289 Main Street in Norwich, VT. It was previously known as Northern Nights Yarn.
