February 18-22, Sara Peattie of Boston-based PUPPETEERS COOPERATIVE (https://puppetco-op.org) will give a daily workshop on creating and using giant puppets. Anyone age 8 to 208 is welcome to participate. Participants will design and make their own giant puppets to keep for parades, theatrical productions, circuses, street theater, videos, Halloween, marches, parties, or just for fun. They'll be great for Fairlee's MARDI GRAS DANCE PARTY on Feb. 23, too! (see website below). Workshops will take place in Fairlee Town Hall theater from 2 to 4 each day and culminate with a pageant for the public Friday evening. There are only a few spaces left so don't wait to register. $20 materials fee.
