Police have stated that there is no need for the public to worry.
After a "suspicious death" occurred at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center on Sunday afternoon, Lebanon Police have called for state agencies to assist in the investigation. The woman was receiving care at the time of her death on Sunday. There has been very little information released surrounding the circumstances of the death and what triggered the investigation. However, police have stated that there is no evidence indicating any threat to the general public.
An autopsy was scheduled to be performed earlier this afternoon and more information and the results should be released as soon as possible. If anyone has any information relating to this investigation, they should contact New Hampshire State Major Crime Unit - (603) 419-8291.
