The Soup or should I say Soups were delicious ( A real nice event it was)

Lots of bread and even dessert, and yes coffee and juice too!

The Soup-a-thon that was held tonight was a huge success. The event was In the meetinghouse at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Upper Valley.

The famous semi-annual Soupathon featured more than a dozen delectable, hot, homemade soups.  I was provided a list which included seventeen crock pots.
Some of the soups on offer were:  Mexican street corn soup, Italian wedding soup, carrot and ginger, split pea with ham, autumn squash, tortellini soup with vegetables, turkey chili, veggie chicken noodle, lentil & brown rice with vegetables, potato and celeraic , vegan chili, vegetable and black bean, kale and sausage,  and fish chowder.

17 different soups for the tasting  (This photo was taken by Margo Nutt)

I thought I would stop by and give it a try and I am glad that I did.  I had a chance to break bread with some real neat folks and had at least a double helping of soup. I was expected home for a steak dinner so needed to save my appetite.

Here are some photos taken by me:

Some smiles and some deciding going on here

And some familiar faces

Everyone agrees the soup is good .(photo credit  for this photo belongs to Margo Nutt)
