Learn the foundations of yoga, from the ground up. Never taken a yoga class and interested in trying? Practiced for years but wondered how you should really be doing that downward dog? And what about all that breathing anyway? If you can say yes to any of the above, this is the class for you. We will explore the foundations of yoga, focusing on the physical alignment for the basic postures, and the basics of breath work and meditation that are also part of the practice. No experience in yoga is needed, but a basic level of physical fitness is required—i.e., you are able to get up from a seated position on the floor, are reasonably comfortable on hands and knees.
