Introduction to Modern Dance

Have you always wanted to dance? Did you dance in the “day”? Now is the chance to dive into the pleasure of modern dance as a means for creative expression and exercise. We will work with basic concepts such as flow, release, and strength through movement using body weight. Some principles will come from yoga, ballet, modern dance, and improvisation. Concepts will build on each other so best to sign up for a series but drop ins welcome. No experience necessary. Wear comfortable clothing and no shoes.
