The Springfield UU Meetinghouse will hold a dinner featuring authentic German food on Saturday, January 26 at 5:30 pm. JoAnn Gaffron-Hargrove, who has lived in Germany, will lead the cook team. This is a fundraiser for the Meetinghouse. Cost is $15 per adult, $8 for children 12 & under; no charge for pre-school children.
Menu: Sauerbraten, Rotkohl (sweet and sour red cabbage), Kartoffel Klosse (potato dumplings), Petersilienkartoffeln (parsley potatoes), Gurken Salat mit Dill (dilled cucumber salad), Rote Gruetze mit Vaniliesosse (red berry pudding with vanilla sauce.) Gluten-free options will be available.
