A real nice fun way to test out that old radar gun (Gotta make sure it is accurate)
There was no School in Norwich on Wednesday, January 9, 2019. I am sure that changed plans for many parents and some kids. It was a very pretty snow-storm that dumped a few inches of heavy wet snow in the Upper valley.
There were probably many ways to spend the day but these kids had a special treat. They got to slide right into a speed trap of fun and learn about safety on the hillside at the same time.
Check out the photos and see for yourself and then you be the judge. Were they speeding or were they just having fun?
"A radar speed gun, also known as a radar gun, is a device used to measure the speed of moving objects. It is used in law-enforcement to measure the speed of moving vehicles"…..or on a snow day off from school, to measure the speed of Norwich youth on sleds For those inquiring minds… the maximum speed obtained was 17 mph by young Mr. Ben – No ticket issued
No speeders here. Everyone was within the 25 MPH speed limit for this area.
the radar gun works just fine
Could this be the one going 17 miles an hour?
Here comes another one ( Gotcha!) at 12 miles an hour
I have two in my sights this time
you stay right there until I clock you in
