Art classes offered here
This story is going to be a " who knew" story. I have known Nancy Dean for over 25 years, as one of my customers at the Norwich Post Office and would always see her at Town Meeting, and Select board meetings. I knew she was a Justice of the Peace and served with her on the Board of Civil authority. She is a member of the Norwich Development Review Board. OK, so enough of what I knew, here is something I didn't know about Nancy. She likes to paint!
She likes to paint so much that she started an art studio and teaches people how to paint with water colors. She started the classes about 30 years ago having had the studio built to be large enough to do that. Nancy and some students in her original class and had been studying under Aidron Duckworth and wanted more water color time. We have run year round ever since. At present, Nancy's class is mainly women but men are welcome - so please sign up! I was there - but not to paint - I was there to take photos for this story.
