The koshas are the layers, or sheaths, that make up our bodies. It is the movement through these layers that connects us with our basic goodness, our rightness as humans and our understanding that we are complete. Yin Yoga is a wonderful way to move through the layers and access this inner wisdom. In this day long workshop Emily will outline the framework of the koshas and break down the basics of Yin Yoga, including its philosophy, meditative qualities, and mechanics of the foundational poses. You will learn how to create a space ripe for exploration, self acceptance and stillness while understanding the mechanics and process behind the practice.
