Date: Friday, February 8 Time:12-1pm Free and Open to All!Mindfulness meditation is a simple technique of synchronizing the body and mind, and gently training the mind so that it can be fully harnessed for greater focus, a sense of kindness to self and others, and overall well-being. The gentleness, openness and precision learned through this meditation practice can be brought to bear on every area of life, whether it's a busy day at the office, in personal relationships, or in life’s many adventures and challenges. This introductory session is appropriate for all levels of practice, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced practitioner looking for re-inspiration. We’ll include a short talk, guided practice, and discussion.About the Mindful Work Initiative: Bruce McClelland and Carole Gaudet teach mindfulness meditation at the Tuck School of Business, as well as at Information, Technology and Consulting Services at Dartmouth.
