Date: Thursdays, February 28 – April 4, 5:30-6:30 (6 weeks)
Instructors: Bruce McClelland and Carole Gaudet
It’s possible to become more adventurous and begin to take risks in our thinking and in all our interactions with the world. Through this training, we can discover that we have all the qualities we need to journey, in the blink of an eye, from self-centered ways of thinking to a more open and curious mind. This class will make use of traditional mind training slogans that encourage us, beginning right where we are, to act and free ourselves from the complacency that prevents us from experiencing the limitless possibilities of the world as it is. Each session will include short talks, guided meditation practice, and group discussion. Appropriate for all levels.
About the Mindful Work Initiative: Bruce McClelland and Carole Gaudet teach mindfulness meditation at the Tuck School of Business, as well as at Information, Technology and Consulting Services at Dartmouth. They have over 50 years combined experience in practicing mindfulness, and have been teaching for 25 years.
Class will proceed with a minimum of 8 students enrolled.
