SOUTH ROYALTON - Shots were reportedly fired during a domestic disturbance at a residence alongside Route 14 on Thursday evening and as a result a resident is due in court this afternoon.
Adam Gover, 32, was ordered “held until sober” after he was lodged at the Springfield jail late Thursday evening.
Gover has been ordered to appear at the courthouse in White River Junction on Friday afternoon where he is expected to face charges of reckless endangerment and first degree aggravated domestic assault, Vermont State Police Trooper Alex Comtois reported.
Troopers responded to the residence on Route 14 just after 8 p.m. Thursday while an ambulance crew was also called to the area to standby as a precaution.
No injuries were reported and Gover was taken into custody within the hour and initially taken to the Royalton State Police Barracks for processing.
