Come create in Chelsea from Jan. 31st to Feb. 1st from 5:30-7:30pm. This free art workshop will be focusing on ways to respond to current events through your art. Workshops will be held in the Altus Art Studio in the Mascoma Bank building (292 VT-110 Chelsea, VT). You'll look at modern radical artists and find ways to make your own art address political conditions. This is an open space for people of all ages (high school, college, and adults) to come form new ideas and practice new skills.

ALL MATERIALS WILL BE PROVIDED, HOWEVER DONATIONS TO SAFEART ARE ALWAYS APPRECIATED.

This workshop is led by Eliza Amber who grew up in Chelsea and studies Visual Arts at Oberlin College. Looking forward, she hopes her work addresses environmental and social activism.

Please email Eliza at eamber@oberlin.edu for planning purposes if you want to attend, but walk-ins are welcome. You can also contact Safeart at 802-685-3138 or by emailing INFO@SAFEART.ORG.
