Worth Knowing: How to be in a play and tell your own special Upper Valley story

Calling all storytellers and storyteller wannabes.  Parish Players is producing a show called “Pieces of Work,” which will feature personal stories from Upper Valley residents about their work.  Think home work (or homework), the evil boss, the job no one else would take, the first summer job, the work that changed your life, that romance at the office, and work on the sly. You name it!here

Auditions for the show will be held Wednesday, January 9, and Thursday, January 10, from 6 to 8 PM at the Eclipse Grange Theater, 193 Academy Road in Thetford, Vermont.

Please come prepared to share your story, or at least a part of it.  No need to memorize for the audition. Any and all are welcome.  No previous acting experience required.

The show is designed to complement the musical “Working” based on the book by Studs Terkel, which will be presented at the Briggs Opera House in March.
