Winter Course

Join us for an exploration of Studs Terkel’s Working. Learn how to conduct an oral history interview and transform it into a performance piece. Examine the differences between documentary and literary approaches to collecting oral histories and conduct interviews with fellow students or members of the community. This class will be taught by members of WE THE PEOPLE, the theater company that brought 1776 to the Upper Valley last March. It is being taught in conjunction with a production of the musical adaptation of Working. As part of the production’s talk-back series, class members will have the option of reading their pieces, or having them read by someone else, in a post-performance session.
Wednesdays, January 16 - February 27 from 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM at the DOC House in Hanover, NH. Please call 603-646-0154 to register or click here. $80 course fee.
