Probationer caught on Main Street in Lebanon with heroin and large amount of cash
LEBANON - A Lebanon man who was on probation after he was caught with 40 bags of heroin in January of 2017 allegedly had another 40 bags of heroin on him Friday when police arrested him on Main Street because of an outstanding warrant.
Tory Roberts, 44, was one of two men in a vehicle who appeared to be acting suspiciously, according to Lebanon Police Sgt. Michael Wright who made the arrest.
A subsequent search of Roberts turned up the heroin and $3,000 in cash, Wright reported.
Roberts was placed in the Grafton County House of Corrections on a "probation hold" pending his arraignment on a new felony possession of heroin charge which is now scheduled for Monday at the Grafton County Superior Court in North Haverhill.
Roberts had been arrested outside a local pharmacy in January of 2017 alongside another man who had allegedly just returned from a drug run to Holyoke, Massachusetts and he was subsequently convicted of possession of heroin in that case and eventually released on probation.
