The Village was originally slated to open on September 8, but construction delays pushed things back. (Read Story on delayed opening.) Now The Village is ready to open its doors and show everyone what all the fuss has been about. There will be a Grand Opening Open House on Friday, December 14 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm at The Village at White River Junction, 101 Currier Street, White River Junction. And you are invited!
The Village at White River Junction is pleased to invite the public to this event. Take a tour and be entered to win a 55" Samsung Smart TV, a gift basket from King Arthur Flour or a gift certificate to a local restaurant. Staff will be on hand to answer questions about health services, dining, and lifestyle amenities. The Village team is excited to show you what they have been working so hard to build. Join them for self-guided tours, holiday treats, hot cocoa, and more. Decorate a holiday cookie in our Smith & Sons Kitchen, create a holiday card or tag in the Abbott Art Studio, and attend one of these spectacular events:
1:00 pm Steve Swayne, the Jacob H. Strauss 1922 Professor of Music at Dartmouth, will regale attendees with his original arrangements of holiday favorites that are at turns amusing, dazzling, and moving.
2:00 pm Northlight Editions opens The Village's Crockwell Art Gallery with an exhibit of Collamer Abbott photographs.
4:00 pm Ribbon Cutting and Dedication.
