At the Selectboard meeting, she expressed confidence that the the Town would get an "excellent, awesome person in here to continue and make the rec department even better."

As in the past, Town Manager Herb Durfee intends to form a small committee to review resumes and interview candidates. The hiring decision is made by the Town Manager, not the Selectboard. Within the last 12 months, Town Manager Durfee has hired a new Fire Chief as well as heads of Planning and DPW.
