I hope that you will be able to attend our last French conversation hour and/or  film of the year on Wednesday, December 5th at the Kilton Library! (we will pick back up on the first Wednesday in March).

Our conversation hour will begin at 5:15 pm. We will talk about holidays, music, food, and symbols linked to the holidays of this season.

At 5:50 pm, Jeremiah McLane will join us - a musician from Upper Valley Music and member of the groups Triton (with Alex Kehler and Timothy Cummings) and Wheezer and Squeezer (with Timothy Cummings), as well as several other groups from the area. Jeremiah will speak to us about traditional Quebecois, French and Breton music and will play one or two musical pieces for our enjoyment. You can ask questions and learn about upcoming events in the Upper Valley.

After our conversation and music hour, at 6:30 we will watch the beautiful movie, "Merry Christmas" that is based on historical facts from The Great War, or WWI. This movie, Jeremiah's music and our warm exchanges are sure to make this evening to not miss!

Please note that if you are only planning to attend the movie portion of the evening, I invite you to arrive around 5:50 if possible so that you can listen to Jeremiah's music and avoid interrupting his discussion and performance. Jeremiah can speak to us both in English and in French.

The event will be held in the community room at Kilton library in West Lebanon. You may park behind library and enter at the rear Entrance. The community room is the first, large room on your right.
