Worth Knowing: Holiday Foods from Around the World Potluck and Cookie Swap on December 14
The Lebanon Gourmet Cooking Club is hosting another fabulous dinner on Friday, December 14 at 6:30 pm. This potluck will feature Holiday Foods from Around the World and there will be a Cookie Swap! This month's dinner will be held in the Community Room at the Kilton Library on Main Street in West Lebanon. (Note: Park in the back parking lot and enter the Library through the rear entrance. The Library is actually closed during this event so the rear entrance is only way in).
Open to all.
Details: Many major holidays like Christmas, Hanukkah, and New Year's are celebrated in nations around the globe at this time of year. Do you have a family favorite holiday dish? Something from your family's native country perhaps? Come share it with your foodie friends. It can be a recipe from any cuisine in the world. After dinner, there's a cookie exchange! Bring 3 or more dozen cookies to exchange at this event and you'll get a nice assortment to take home and share during the holidays with your family and friends. Now these cookies will be special because they are from your gourmet friends in the Lebanon Gourmet Cooking Club--not your everyday group of bakers!! This event will also mark the third anniversary of the Lebanon Gourmet Cooking Club, which has over 460 members now. Amazing!
Please bring an appetizer, side dish, entree, dessert or beverage to share with everyone.
