Want to learn more about computers but you’re afraid to ask?
Or maybe you’ve been using a computer for years but want to understand more of the basics.
In “Computer 101 – Basics” we’ll learn online with Universal Class while using our own laptops (the library will also have some laptops to borrow during the class session). Meg Brazill, NWPL’s Director of Technology, will guide users and provide in-person info and answer questions.
In 12 lessons we’ll cover: Setting Up a Comfortable, Safe Work Area, Virus Protection, Searching & Surfing the Internet, Using Email and Advanced Email, Finding Stuff on Your Computer, Word Processing Basics, and the Basics of Images (photos, etc.) This class is designed to help anyone feel more comfortable with basic technology.
Sign up required. You will need a library card to access the program.
