Lebanon Police Investigating Fatal Motor Vehicle Accident Involving Pedestrian

The victim is identified as Matthew B. Biathrow, age 52, of Enfield, NH. The
driver of the 2004 Jaguar sedan involved in the accident, is identified as Emily
Tyburski, age 39, of Quechee, VT. Tyburski was not injured in the accident. An
autopsy for Biathrow is scheduled for Friday morning and will be conducted by
the New Hampshire Medical Examiner’s Office in Concord.
Speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the accident. The investigation into this accident is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lebanon Police at 603-448-1212.
On November 7, at approximately 6:25PM, Lebanon Police and Fire units responded to the intersection of Hanover Street Extension and Evans Drive for a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian. According to a statement from law enforcement, investigating officers determined that a single vehicle, turning onto Evans Drive from Hanover Street Extension, struck a pedestrian crossing the street in the crosswalk.
The vehicle was operated by a 39-year-old female, who was not injured in the accident, said the Lebanon Police Department. The adult male pedestrian was transported to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, where he died from his injuries, said the Lebanon Police Department. Identification of the victim is being withheld pending positive identification and notification to next of kin. An autopsy will be scheduled and conducted by the New Hampshire Medical Examiner’s Office in Concord.
