Worth Knowing: Concert to benefit The Haven on Sunday in South Pomfret

"Wind and the Woods," a performance featuring clarinet and piano, will take place this Sunday at ArtisTree Community Arts Center. The performance begins at 4:00 pm.

Listen for the dialogue between the clarinet, the winds through the reeds and the wood with the wooden soundboard of the piano resonating with counter melodies, full harmonies and more.

This concert will benefit the Upper Valley Haven.

About the musical duo: Matthew Marsit  (as the director of bands for the Hopkins Center for the Performing Arts at Dartmouth College) and Annemieke McLane (as pianist for the Handel Society and Theater Department at Dartmouth College), met and heard each other's playing and decided to perform together.
